GERMANTOWN

This quaint city is home to around 40,000 people. Sitting just east of Memphis, Germantown is ranked as the second safest city in the state of Tennessee, with the average response time of emergency services being less than five minutes. The city has made it a point to have recreational space within a half mile of every home, so you will find 31 parks spread out over 800 acres of open space and wonderful walking trails to enjoy throughout the year.

There are entertainment options for every taste in town. For history lovers, the historic train depot sits right in the city center (in a 1948 replica of the 1868 original), and Fort Germantown is tucked into a neighborhood with civil war cannons you can visit. For those who want access to fine arts, there is the Germantown Community Center and the Germantown Performing Arts Center. In the summer you can find Movies in the Park, a Farmer’s Market, and the infamous Germantown Charity Horse Show spread throughout the city. There are always family friendly events on the city’s calendar!

With easy access to historic sites, beautiful homes, great shopping and dining, and an average commute of just 20 minutes, this is a wonderful place to call home. If you are looking for a place that has a small town feel with access to big city amenities, this is where you need to be!
